Burial may be seen as a more traditional option, however once again comes down to personal preference. If you are arranging a burial, you may already know the cemetery that is to be used, have a pre-purchased burial plot, or you are still looking at your cemetery options before making the decision. For a burial service you will need to decide on a coffin or casket, and the preferred location of the burial plot. We can assist you in making the arrangements to purchase a new gravesite if the burial plot has not been purchased in advance.

Private Burial Service

A respectful burial with no funeral or ceremony beforehand, and nobody in attendance for the burial. We take care of everything quietly, so you can say goodbye in your own way, whenever feels right.

Graveside Burial Service

$5,499 inc GST + cemetery fee

A respectful burial as a graveside service, led either by family or we can organise a minister or celebrant. A simple service where family and friends come together to remember, celebrate, and honour in a way that feels right for your family.

Dual Burial Service

A dual location burial with a service held at a church or chapel, followed by attendance at the cemetery for a graveside committal. This service could be led either by family member, alternatively we can organise a minister or celebrant.

Below is a list of the general cemetery fees for the various South East Queensland cemeteries. Please note, this is a guide and if you have an existing plot these fees may have been prepaid and could differ. Pricing current as at July 2026.

Warrill Park Cemetery

  • New Beam Lawn Grave: $5,900
  • Reopen Existing Grave: $3,570

Centenary Memorial Gardens

  • New Grave: starts from $4,800
  • Interment fee: $2,800

Goodna Cemetery

  • New single grave: $2,750

Scenic Rim Cemeteries (Kalbar, Boonah, Beaudesert, Tamborine)

  • New Grave: $2,953
  • Interment fee: $2,238

Brisbane City Cemeteries (Mt Gravatt, Hemmant & Pinnaroo)

  • New Lawn Grave: $2,360
  • Interment Fee (lawn): $3,170
  • New Monumental Grave: $3,317
  • Interment Fee (monumental): $3,356

Invocare Cemeteries (Albany Creek, Great Southern Gardens & Allambe Memorial Park)

Pricing within these cemeteries are to be handled directly with the cemetery. Upon meeting with us, we will make an appointment to meet with their staff to look at plot selection and the appropriate costs.

Redlands City Council (Redland Bay Cemetery, Cleveland Cemetery & Dunwich)

The cost of a burial service can vary greatly because the burial plot cost will differ between cemeteries. Location of the cemetery and gravesite type is also a contributing factor. As a guide, a burial service costs from $5,499, plus the cost of the burial site for a simple graveside service. This includes your funeral arranger to assist in planning the burial, a hearse, transfer and mortuary care, coffin and legislative requirements.

This is a personal choice. You may decide to not attend the graveside burial which may follow a Church Service or Chapel Service.

In this instance, our funeral directors will attend to the burial while you remain at the service venue with guests or gather with guests at the wake for refreshments.

Depending on the cemetery, the cemetery office will generally mail out information relating to purchasing a plaque or headstone following the service. Some smaller cemeteries don’t offer monumental services, in which case you will need to engage the services of a Monumental Mason.
